WhatsApp, where the business already runs.
The morning report lands in each department’s chat at 06:30. Enquiries are captured with their source and time. Replies to customers are drafted and approved. Every message is logged by category so Meta’s invoice reconciles against the agent’s own count.

Setting it up.
| Access | A Meta Business account with a verified business, a WhatsApp Business Account and a registered number; KYN as a system user with a scoped token in your account. | |
| Templates | Utility templates drafted and submitted for approval before launch; marketing templates only on request. | |
| Groups | The Cloud API does not post into group chats. Internal reports go to each person on the distribution list, or to a group through a linked business phone where the client runs one. | |
| Cost | From 1 October 2026 Meta bills replies past 1,000 a month per number and utility templates inside the window, per message; the agent’s log counts both. | |

Questions buyers ask
Can the agent post the morning report into our WhatsApp group?
- The Cloud API cannot post into group chats. The report goes to each person on the list, or to a group through a linked business phone where the client prefers that. Both are built; the choice is yours.
Does the agent answer customers on its own?
- No. It captures the enquiry, drafts the reply and a person sends. A client can lift that gate for a named workflow in writing after 30 days of reviewed operation.
What does WhatsApp cost to run?
- Meta’s per-message rates by the customer’s country, with 1,000 free service replies a month per number from 1 October 2026, plus the model fee per message handled. Both are on the build library as run cost per unit.
Can we keep our existing number?
- Yes, by migrating it to the Business Platform, which takes the number off the phone app. A second number for the agent is the simpler route where the team still wants the app.
