A business website for the AI era.
AI assistants answer the buyer’s question before a results page loads. Seven changes make a site readable, quotable and named. Score yours first.
Let us assess your website
What changed.
- One answer, not ten links
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews answer the question on the page. The buyer reads one answer, with two or three sources named.
- The first paragraph gets quoted
An answer engine lifts the passage that answers the question directly. A page that opens with a slogan has nothing to lift.
- Crawlers need permission
GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended read robots.txt. A site that blocks them, or renders its text only in JavaScript, is absent from the answer.
- Named or not named
Position 3 on a results page still earned a click. In an AI answer, a business is either named or it is not.
The seven changes.
In the order we make them. Items 01, 02 and 05 move a score the most; the check above shows which ones your site is missing.
| No. | Change | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Answer first | Under every heading, the first paragraph answers the question in 40 to 70 words. The explanation follows. An engine quotes the paragraph; a buyer reads the rest. |
| 02 | Question headings | Headings worded the way the buyer types them: "How long does a website take to build?", not "Our process". Interface labels stay plain; the knowledge pages carry the questions. |
| 03 | One page per question | Each product, each buyer question, each market gets its own page with its own title. A page that covers everything is cited for nothing. |
| 04 | Structured data | Organization, Service, FAQPage, Article and BreadcrumbList schema on every page, with the same company name, address and phone the engines see elsewhere. |
| 05 | Crawler access | robots.txt allows GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended. An llms.txt file lists the pages that matter and what each one states. Text lives in HTML, not in images or scripts. |
| 06 | Proof on the page | Figures with dates, clients named by industry, the author, the address and the phone number. Engines weigh a page that can be checked over a page that claims. |
| 07 | Speed and languages | Under 2 seconds on a phone. For Singapore buyers, English, Chinese and Bahasa side by side with hreflang pairs, so each language is served to the reader who searches in it. |
Search then, AI search now.
| Search, 2015 to 2023 | AI search, 2026 | |
|---|---|---|
| Unit of competition | A keyword and a results page | A question and one answer |
| What wins | Links, keyword density, domain age | A liftable passage that answers, plus proof it is true |
| Headings | Keyword phrases | The question as the buyer asks it |
| Structured data | Optional | Required for the engine to know who you are |
| Crawlers | Googlebot and Bingbot | Googlebot, Google-Extended, GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot |
| Measure | Rank and clicks | Named or not named, per question, per engine |
| Content cadence | Pages set once | One article a week answering the next question buyers ask |
Copy written in the language of search.
How the pages and articles on a KYN site are written, by agents, from the questions buyers actually type.
- Questions from Search Console
Every query where the site already sits in positions 8 to 50 is a question buyers typed. Each becomes one page or one article.
- Written in the buyer’s words
The draft opens with the answer, keeps the buyer’s phrasing in the heading and carries one figure per claim. The agent checks each claim against the systems behind the site before publishing.
- Six engines asked each month
The same buyer questions are put to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot and Google AI Overviews. The report lists where the business was named and who was named instead.
- Pages revised, never removed
A page that stops being named is rewritten against the answer that replaced it. Live articles are never archived; a removed page takes its citations with it.
Measured on this site.
kyn.com.sg scored 70 of 100 on its own check on 12 October 2026. After the seven changes, the product pages score 84 to 100 and the Website page is named by Gemini for its category.
Questions buyers ask
How do I make my business website relevant for the AI era?
- Make every page answer one buyer question in its first paragraph, under a heading worded as the question; add Organization, FAQPage and Article schema; allow GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended in robots.txt; put figures, dates and the company’s address and phone on the page; keep it under 2 seconds on a phone. The free check above lists which of these your site has.
Does AI search replace Google search?
- No. Google still carries most searches, and AI Overviews now sit on top of them. The same page serves both: a direct answer and schema help it rank in Google and be quoted in the Overview, in ChatGPT and in Perplexity.
Can AI write the website copy?
- Yes, when it writes from facts. Our agents take the buyer questions from Search Console, draft the answer in the buyer’s words, check each figure against the systems behind the site, and a person approves before publishing. Copy invented without a source is what engines learn to skip.
How do I know if AI assistants name my business?
- Ask them the questions your buyers ask, by engine, every month. The check on this page asks Gemini with live search for your category and market and reports whether you were named and who was named instead.
