Group Benefits Comparison System for an Insurance Brokerage
A group benefits comparison system for an insurance brokerage in Singapore. It reads an emailed quote request and drafts a side-by-side comparison across insurers, with premiums rebuilt from each insurer’s own rates.
- 8,682
- Premium cases checked
- 0
- Premium mismatches
- 445
- Benefit rows, from 28
The problem
Each group benefits quote meant reading the request, pricing it with several insurers and building a comparison by hand. Premium errors were easy to make and hard to spot. Earlier comparison tools produced scores that staff could not explain to clients.
What we built
- Agent reads an emailed quote request and drafts the side-by-side comparison.
- Premiums rebuilt from each insurer’s rate calculator and tested on boundary cases.
- Deterministic comparison: no black-box score, no declared winner.
- Value view ranks only on features every insurer prices.
- Company summary agent: where we left off, to-dos and stale-account alerts.
- One tone-of-voice file shared by every writing agent.
